Public Speaking & Presentation Challenge 2026

Future Voices - Public Speaking & Presentation Challenge 2026 is a regional competition empowering the next generation of confident speakers and leaders. Open to Grade 11 & 12 school students and university undergraduates across the Kandy, Kurunegala, and Kegalle (3K) regions, the challenge provides a professional platform to develop public speaking, presentation, critical thinking, and leadership skills.

Bringing together over 300 participants from 30+ schools and 20+ universities and higher education institutions, the competition features three stages - Selection Round, Semi-Final, and Grand Final. The finalists will take the stage at Kandy AER Day 2026 on 5 September 2026, where they will present before distinguished educators, industry leaders, and invited guests.

Future Voices is more than a competition - it's a platform to inspire confidence, nurture talent, and shape the communicators and leaders of tomorrow.

Key Info You Need

Open to undergraduates from universities and higher-education institutes in the 3K region. Institutions nominate speakers before the Round 1 deadline. Topics and video instructions follow once your nomination is accepted.

Guidelines are issued after registration

Open to Grade 11 and 12 students from schools in Kandy, Kurunegala, and Kegalle. Register through your school coordinator or directly with Jeewa Kandy.

Round 1 is a recorded speech submitted through WhatsApp 076 555 9993. Shortlisted speakers present in person at the Semi-Final on 22 August, then finalists take the Grand Final stage at Kandy AER Day on 5 September.

Semi-Final: 22 August 2026, 9.00 am–4.00 pm at Jeewa Education Kandy, 483 William Gopallawa Mawatha. Grand Final: 5 September 2026 at Kandy AER Day.
